what measurement does the gates tensioner instrument use, Hz or pounds. I would like to use a measurement in Hz. In the video on the Webb site it says to tighten the belts to the factory settings. These numbers are found on the installation PFD for my Daytona kit and are 130 to 150 pounds. how would this relate to vibration readings[Hz]?
Did I ask a Question no one has an answer for? Im changing engines this winter and have loosened the belts off so the alignment of engine,transmision, and primary is complete. Im working in my own shop and I will need to reset belt tension before I ride out next spring. CSC and Gates have specific settings for the belts, and of coarse im trying to save the cost of the special tool required. any suggestions?
