Last weekend while riding to Rabbit Hash for an Ale 88 and a cigar I passed a GW CSC Trike with (wait for it) two dudes riding it! The first time in all my travels I've seen a trike with a male rider and another male in the passenger seat. I've seen two females but this was a first.

Theres always a first time...

.Which reminds me that whenever i bring in a vehicle for a problem and the service guy says ''Thats the first time i ever seen that'' I tell them to write it down so when someone else comes in with the same problem you can say 'yes we seen that before.....;)..

I've done that. I don't see a problem. My trike was broke and I wanted to go with the rest of the gang my buddy said jump on. I did not know it was against the rules. I did it all the time when i was a teenager. At what age and what kind of bike do you have to stop doing that.?

If the passenger sits facing backwards it's then legal in 48 of the 57 states...;).

I have seen a few guys at HD jump off of the back of another dude's MC in front of the service department. Being a woman is good because no one even looks twice if I am on the back of a dude's MC or trike.

When i was a Yute i would let the Girl drive and i would sit on the back....Better hand grips to hold on to...:D

On a TrikeTalk gathering one year here at Kerrville a member’s trike would not start while out on one of the rides. He asked a farmer if he could push it into his shed until he could return for it with a trailer. They were in a remote area and there was no other ride available back to the motel.. so he rode on the passenger seat of another male driver’s bike all the way back to the motel…and was thankful for it.

This thread brings back a terrifying memory of riding 2-up on my 2 wheel Goldwing many years ago. An old friend asked me to take his son (big dude, 50+ years old) to a dealer to pick a bike up. There was a pretty good size group of us on the ride and the dealer was a little over 100 miles away. The son, (Ralf) was a very experienced rider. I had a lot of experience with co-riders and gave Ralf my normal pre-ride instructions. He was absolutely the WORST pilon rider I ever experienced. It was like he wanted to control the bike from the back seat, leaning, fidgeting, and squirming around. Several times I tried to remind him to not move around and let ME do the riding. Ralf didn't/couldn't listen. Glad to get to the dealer and Ralf off the bike..... Jim

I remember that day. :clapping: I sure miss both of those guys.

Several years ago we were on a ride in Huntsville Alabama and my Triglide would not crank so I hopped on the back of another tike to go to the parts store to pick up a battery. I was most appreciative of the lady giving up her seat and letting her husband take me to the parts place.
