Ok, so I buy a HD Smart Siren 2 for my 2020 TG. ($109.95) Install was a breeze. The TG has to be violently shaken before any alarm sounds. You can push it, sit on it, open the trunk, open the tour pak, turn the ignition switch on, (without the fob present) and no alarm sounds. Seriously, it physically has to be shaken violently before any alarm sounds. First violent shaking produces a long chirp sound, shake it a couple seconds later and you get another long chirp sound, finally shaking it violently a third time and the alarm goes crazy for only 28 seconds.

On a 2 wheel HD Motorcycle, you take the bike off the jiffy stands and immediately the alarm sounds, just as you would expect it to.

I have looked all over and far as I know there is no sensitivity adjustment on the Smart siren 2. Even called HD service. If anyone knows different, let me know.

So it’s pretty much worthless for a TG. Except, if some unknowing suspect doesn’t know all this and cuts a wire leading to the Smart Siren Alarm, or pulls the main fuse, or disconnects the battery, or even unplugs the Smart Siren 2, then the Smart Siren 2 will definitely sound off loudly.

It might sound off if it is being loaded at an angle in the back of someones truck. Haven’t check that yet.

That's been my experience also. Installed an aftermarket siren on my previous TG (a 2020 also) and it would only alarm as you said - being shaken pretty hard. I do think is someone tried to load it on a truck or trailer it would hopefully go off but other than that the only thing I thought it was good for was chirping when the security system armed so I would know it was functioning.

Well it is good to a degree: if some unknowing suspect doesn’t know all this and cuts a wire leading to the Smart Siren Alarm, or pulls the main fuse, or disconnects the battery, or even unplugs the Smart Siren 2, then the Smart Siren 2 will definitely sound off loudly.

I am not sure but I think the sensitivity can be adjusted with the Digital Technician. Would need to ask the dealer though and a Tec that was knowledgeable.

I went with a Monimoto and sold my stupid siren. More expensive but in today’s world, it does what I want it to.

I called the local HD service Department and they came to the conslusion, you cannot adjust the sensativity. However, the phone answerers are basicly just that, phone answerers. They get their answers by asking the mechanic/tecnition. But still, in my desparation to find a way, It never materialized. On older model bikes I've seen how to adjust the sensitivity. But apparently, not the this one.
