Slip-on muffler question

I know there are a lot of exhaust threads on here, but I could not find the info I was looking for on the Kuryakyn Crusher Slip Stream or the V&H Trike Deluxe slip-on mufflers. Do I need the trike exhaust adaptor kit for either of these? I believe the V&H Deluxe do not need the kit since these mufflers were made for trikes, but I wasn't sure if the Crusher Slip-ons need the kit. Some vendor sites that sell these state you do need the kit, some sites do not mention needing the kit at all. Any one out there run either of these slip-ons on their Tri-glide?

I have the V&H Trike Deluxe slip-on muffler's the on my 2014 Tri Glide, they did come with the kit that allows the conversion of the rear mounting and also includes the clamps needs. They sound great and increase the ground clearance, I very happy with the purchase I made, installation was very easy and quick.

Looks to me like Kury PN 560 is just a clamp, a new rubber isolator, a couple bolts and the piece which slides into the rubber isolator where the mufflers bolt up to. You should be able to use your existing clamps, rubber and bolts. The clamps can be re-used several times without any problems, I've been doing it for years.

Pardon my ignorance but what is a "trike exhaust adapter kit"?

here is a picture of what the V&H and Crusher adaptor kits look like. My take on this is that it was necessary for most slip on mufflers for the TG, but not sure if all after market slip-ons require this kit:

You are correct, the picture he shows of for aftermarket head pipes for a 2 wheeler being used on a Triglide.
