slip-on dimple?

I want to put a set of slip-ons on a 09 Tri that were on an 08 ultra. One slip has a dimple that I think helped clearance issues regarding belt guard on 08. Is this issue anything to concern about with the trike. Dimpled slip on left side or doesn't it matter? thanks in advance.

Just make sure nothing is close enough to rub anything, I don't think there is anything. The dent is just to clearance on the 2 wheeler.
