(Priell3) Michael just recently started a great thread covering 9 mm firearms.

This is a spin off thread for all other calibers, other than 9 mm, and any other exotic firearms.

To get things going, I am posting a pic of a Mossberg 590 Shockwave. This 12 gauge, 14" barrel, 26.5" long shotgun packs easily into the trike trunk. The shotgun will hold 5 full size shells or 8 Aguilla mini-shells. It is also a nice little home defense tool especially in tight areas. The shotgun is legal in all but 4 states.

I added grip tape to the grip, UTC top rail mount and a Crimson Trace A-206 green dot laser set to 12 yards.

The photo was taken along with a standard 4", 9 mm 17 round Ruger American pistol to show size comparisons.

I've got the same beastie in 410. Sweet little shooter and the 410 is a serious short range defense cartridge, throwing out triple ought buck at 1400 fps. Thought the 12 gauge would be too much for the wife.

1 of my main CCW's. A Sig P238 .380 ACP with Hogue grips & tritium night sights. It's very similar to a 1911 in design & the best shooting small barreled pistol I have ever shot. With Hornady Critical Defense ammo, it is very effective.

Shown with the extended 7-round magazine, it also comes with a 6-round magazine.

Carried in a Galco leather pocket holster, it conceals easily in the summer.
