Shock absorber consensus

I have run Progressives in the past, but not on a trike. I probably shouldn’t respond, but that just ain’t like me. I’m thinking that if an acquaintance is selling them at a fair price then go for it. If you’re just beginning to shop for a new set of shocks, maybe consider various brands and ask what others are using and how they feel about their choices. Then there’s also the price and availability thing. I’m using Bitubo coil overs on my Freewheeler and was pleased with the results and with the price.

What's the consensus from those of you who are running the Progressive 444 shocks on your Tri Glide?

Replace the 444's with a quality shock that is made for HD Trikes.

The difference between the 444's and the 14" NexGen™ Trike Series Shocks™ is night and day.

See more info on them HERE.

That said, if you're getting them for free, and budget is tight, they will definitely be an improvement over stock.
