After ready many of the positive reviews for a sheepskin seat cover, thinking about getting one. For those of you that have one, where did you get it? Probably will be one of my wintertime projects. Thank you in advance, Steve

I will need to check where I got mine...something Village? I got custom fit which are more than the pelts.

I also had mine dyed black...BIG MISTAKE. The weather, sun and moisture has faded the black and now they have a blue tint. Doesn't go well with Red and Black trike...

Will post more info once I find receipt. You can google Wool pelts or motorcycle seat covers...

I got mine from Blacksheep Trading. It was custom made to fit my seat they have many colors to pick from. Good people to work with.

I wish I could tell you where I got mine but I can't, sorry. Was coming back from Sturgis in 2002 and we stop someplace and I can't even remember where but there was a guy selling them and my girl friend bought one and my friend bought one also. I used it coming back and my friend still uses his to this day, he did make a slit in his for his back rest, me on the other hand haven't used it that much so to speak, and no I won't sell it, should but won't, my is white, really don't like the color so to speak but at least it goes with any color bike.

Sorry I can't help you but sure you will get replies who has them

All for now Trampas

do you know any livestock farmers that have sheep? That's how I got mine. If you know of any, you can get the hide from them when the sheep are skinned & just send off to be tanned. The farmer did it for me, yrs ago & it is still in very good shape.

Thanks everyone for the replies, I’m going to check out the different websites, Arnie, I don’t know of any sheep farmers in my area but I’ll check around and see. Thanks everyone for the great response

Not to downplay anybodies product but I had one from Blacksheep Trading and was not happy with having to remove seat to install or remove ! They claim real sheepskin , mine was not ! I purchased my new one from Ride and Leather in Jonesboro , Indiana ! Perfect fit easy to install and remove and real wool sheepskin with a natural skin nonslip back ! Works with backrest and the passenger part is removable also ! They are cooler in the summer and a little warmer when it is cool outside , plus a little more padding ! we don't ride without it ! My 2 cents . Ebert

Picked mine up at Sturgis 4-5 years ago. Love it !! Only problem is after getting it wet...have to dry completely and comb it out. One of the first things i put in my tent when we hit camp.

Mine has the raw, unfinished edges wich is was i really like about it. Is a good size to cover the rider plus the passenger seats. Cool in summer, warm in the winter.

I found out while looking for one in Sturgis there are some imitations out there that aren't worth the money.

I got mine from Hartco seats in Texas. Hartcoseats.com Each one is custom made. I put one one on my GL1500 because I scuffed the seat while putting my leg over the top but couldn't believe the difference it made in the ride comfort. This year I bought a GL1800 and figured I wouldn't need one. After about 2,000 miles I really missed it and after much prodding from my wife I ordered a new one. Can't believe the difference on long rides. We do a 200 mile ride at least every other week in the good weather and this makes it incredibly comfortable. When you call to order you're most likely talking with the owner. Good guy. One draw back is you do have to remove the seat to install them. Takes a little patience to line up the bolts but it's worth it. If it gets wet, yes it takes a while to dry but I've never had a mold problem or anything. I just put a towel on the seat when I wash it.
