Sheepskin seat cover for old Shiney

So, did you all just cut a hole for the backrest and lay it on, do the edges flap when you are riding? I’ve looked at a bunch of different companies, none this inexpensive. But all others had some kind of straps or elastic to hold them on.i think I’m going to get one of these, can’t beat the price and the pictures look great
 
So, I’ve heard not to buy black because it will fade, what is your experience? Black or another color?

Ours is black. It is somewhere between 12-15 years old, seen hundreds of thousands of miles and a lot of sun.

When looking closely, it has definitely faded and has a bluish tint to it.

You can see the difference in the photo below of the black vinyl and the sheepskin.

Securement for Seat cover

Well me being me could not take that beautiful silver lambskin seat cover just lying on the seat, besides it was flapping when I was solo. looked at several ways to keep it in place, and decided to use or at least try Velcro. So we shall see if it doesn't work a little goo gone and try something else.:Shrug: Pictures to follow later possible get this evening. :D ride safe Fred/Jenne
