Seat Shopping, Ultimate Seat

I wanted one and it was gonna be a long wait ,low and behold,I check Ebay and one is for sale, tallboy with backrest.. 500 miles on it and it’s mine now. We like it a lot. Needs more time on it for sure.

After riding for over 60 years, all I can say is the H-D Road Zepplin air adjustable seat is the most comfortable seat I've ever owned. The older model is the best because it has 3 bladders instead of two. Don't know what Harley was thinking on that change.

1000 mile days are a snap. I even added a beaded seat pad for those even longer rides. Millions of Cab and truck drivers can't be wrong. :D

Found my Ultimate seat, 14 days and a bunch of miles to try out.

Update on Ultimate Seat

With about 400 miles on seat it is going to be a keeper

I did around 160 miles up in mountains This Fri. my first real trip

on some curvy roads on a Trike while I could not keep up with my Buddy

on his Street Glide it was a very nice ride, had my Great Grandson on

the back so really didn't push it real hard.

Pro's on seat It is very comfortable, love the backrest.

I have done one three hour ride and really felt no discomfort.

Cons for me, Seat is larger than I am use to looking at kinda

takes the hot rod look away from the FreeWheeler.

The seat does set you up and back just over and inch both ways.

I was running my stock 16 in. summer time windshield but switched

back over to my winter time 22 in. shield.

At 72 years old I will take the comfort over style, easy enough to

swap seats when you want to style and profile.
