I went to check the shock adjustment and when removing the seat noticed the screw buried in there. Does anyone make a longer seat screw as it’s a bit tough with all the cables in the way. 2024 Tri Glide Ultra

Since the seat I have that came on my TG is the Road Zeppelin (not a cheap seat) when I bought it, I chose to remove my long extended seat bolt in favor of the “Robert Becker” brand.

Sense of security plus it’s the long extended design just for the Tri Glides.

It’s not a cheap seat lock, but is an awesome set up!
Volunteer audio is where I bought mine and was the cheapest that I found last November.

Pic attached.

My trike came with an extended seat bolt stock and the only difference appears to be that mine has a screwdriver slot and this is an allen head. Mine is easy to get out, but can be very difficult to get back in, even with some of the cables zip tied out of the way. What makes the DK one better or easier? Thanks.
Nothing really. Just preference of allen head vs slotted screw driver head. I have tried both and find that putting allen head screw on a allen wrench prior to installation, helps with installation. Just helps with a that little extra extension. Just my opinion.

That makes sense. I usually do that with allen heads.

I ordered it and will see how it goes

I returned it it was shorter than the original. I wish the site mentioned the length. Going to think up another way to make it easier
On my 2014 I had a longer bolt in my seat and as previously mentioned, I put a seat lock on mine but I still want to keep my original bolt.
I do see Custom Dynamics makes a 2” long bolt.
Maybe compare the length to the one you’re ready to return.
But here’s a CD link:

Thanks I will check it out

I’ve seen a lot of people just make one out of a longer eye bolt and two jam nuts. I did that yesterday with all stainless. Had my seat back on securely in less than a minute.

I made one from a stainless 2” bolt and a couple lock nuts. Don’t know why anyone would pay $19 for a seat bolt.

I think that’s quite subjective….
Absolutely nothing wrong with doing things on the cheap.
Basically is personal preference to spend $2.00 on a cheap hex bolt, or $20.00 for a nice custom machined one…. Or $80.00 for a security locking bolt.
I’ve been to a few rallies where some guys had their seats stolen (even worse, the entire bike). So my personal preference was a locking bolt because the HD road Zeppelin is not a cheap seat.
(In today’s world, there appears to be more jagoffs out there).
Most of all, one has options and have some choices out there …. That’s why America 🇺🇸 is the best countr! 👍🏻👍🏻
