Just purchased a 2021 CVO Triglide and I need to sit a few inches more back from the tank. I am looking for either seat suggestions or other ideas.

I am 6’2” tall and the CVO seat has a small paraded section that sits just under the backrest and is sewn into the seat. I suspect if that was removed I would have the room I need.

Have you talked to you dealer about the seat most Harley dealers have demo seats that you can try on..?

Welcome to the forum. I purchased a Ultimate tallboy seat. It’s firm but it is comfortable, mine isn’t broke in yet. Mustang Super tour is what I have on my 07 Electra Glide and it’s broke in and I love it.

Call your dealer to see if he offers the seat demo program

Many dealers have a variety of seats and windshields you can demo on your bike/ trike

If you price that CVO seat you will want to keep it and not modify it, as others have said HD has a nice selections of seats that you can try.

I had a Harley Tall-Boy seat on my 2016 trike and really liked it. I have stuck with the OEM seat on my 19. A seat vender (SnapperHead) was going to do some fancy sewing and rebuild my seat but that deal fell though when they left Florida early for health reasons.

X2 on seeing if a local Harley dealer will let you demo a few seats.

Mean City Cycles

I've had 02 previous seats done by Mean City: 01 was for a 18 Heritage and the other my wife's 11 XL 1200. They work very well, have held up well, use quality materials, and the customer service was outstanding in my experiences. I have an appointment for set next month for my trike seat.
