Seat & Grab Handles

After reading several comments on here about seats, and specifically the Hammock seat, I purchased the Hammock and the dealer installed it at no cost while they were changing the rear brake part.

The seat seems to be considerably more comfortable than the stock seat, but my back seat riders misses the grab handles. They took them off so the new seat would mount properly.

Does anyone have any experience with trying to bend the grab handles to make them work with the Hammock seat?

Thanks

Glenn

WildBill ... does your seat fit snuggly inside the handles? Just trying to think why the dealer here took the handles off. If yours fit, I may need to take the seat off, reinstall the handles, try and spread them a bit and try to put the seat back on.

This is what I found. Of course, it says it won't fit trike...........

I too saw where it said it would not fit the trike, but mine certainly fit. It was snug to the sides but looked good and worked fine. It did not appear that it had been bent. I don't know that you can see much, but the pic in my profile shows the seat and handle. By the way, I did not have it on long before I went back to Mustang, a personal choice for my bad back. I have the Hammock seat in like new condition and the adjustable back rest for trike that I will sell for $400.00 plus shipping for both.
