Screaming Eagle Pipes

I had a 07 ulttra with rush mufflers on it. Was a bit loud for me how do the jackpots compare to the rush mufflers. And is the mufflers louder going down the road on a trike than they are on a 2 wheeler. Because of the design of the bike.

I'm not sure they're louder because of the design of the trike, they're just in a different spot. Actually might be quieter since there's all the bodywork between you and the noise.

I just put on the 3.5" Jackpots yesterday and I'm also running the Jackpot no-cat header. I love the sound but even though I'm an OF I do have a streak of redneck in me.

Best comparison I can give you is with my 2011 Dyna Super Glide. It had no cat and I was running Rush slips with the 1.75" baffle. I'd say this is close to the same if not just a little bit louder-but not much. The sound thru the Jackpots is very, very deep but to me not raspy or annoying.

Sound is very subjective so you really need to try to listen to some in person. With the Jackpots they come standard with the 2.0" baffle but you can order and quickly put in a "quiet" baffle if you need to.

Here's mine:

I had the Screamin Eagle pipes removed because the were to quiet! I always run Vance & Hines for performance and sound, the 4" oval slipons look & sound great, nice throaty sound but not to loud.

Delta, you mentioned that the Fatshotz had the EPA stamp. I was out in the garage yesterday looking for that stamp. I couldn't find it - on either muffler.

Granted I just looked at the sides and bottom of the mufflers. Could the stamp be on top of the muffllers? Toward the front or back? Is it stamped into the metal or a sticker??
There was a great article in the latest issue of Thunder Press on mufflers and particularly on the Fatshotz. It showed a list of mufflers that did or did not comply with the EPA.
