2001 hd screaming eagle air shocks

+1 ... it's kind of subjective ... start around 20 and adjust to you ... the trike seems to be more sensitive to shock air pressure ... at least on the tri ... On my ultra, 5# change didn't feel like much difference, on the tri, as little as 2# change seems to make a big difference. Play around, you'll find the sweet spot.

hi how much air should I have in the air shocks I am new to the trike
bob

Its trial and error, Max is 50, At least on my 11 T/G... And remember before you bleed any air out you should pump in 3 or 4 pounds so as to push shock oil out of the tube back into the shock's..
Too little air and the shock will bottom out, Too much and the ride will be hard. Ive settled on 35 pounds, I only ride solo..

The newer style holds up to 50lbs which replaced the old style , I think, in 08. Personally I prefer the older style. They are not as stiff but does not handle luggage and extra weight as well.
