Sadness in my heart

Due to health issues with Ron and myself, we have made a very difficult decision to sell our bike/trike. I listed Ron's RK and it has a bid and will sell. I just listed my Tri Glide and I am really sick to my stomach. Needless to say time will tell. Ron put the tourpak and lowers back on it, so it now looks like a TG. The trike is flawless and has been completely without issues. If you know of anyone looking for the most beautiful, flawless trike, that has 14,365 worry free miles, send them my way. My eBay id is aroyalbeach.

I will continue to check in with the TT group and hopefully meet up at a rally or two..You are a great bunch and I wish you many years of success and safe rides. Annette

Annette and Ron, this news is heartbreaking for you both, but also to us who have come to love and appreciate you both so much. Please do stay in touch! You will always be a part of our TT family!

I'm so very sorry to hear the news and hope that all goes well for both you and Ron in the future. You taught me how to speak "southern" and for that I will be eternally grateful!!! LOL!! Hugs to both of you from Tom and I

I am very sorry to hear this news. I am sure it must have taken a lot of soul searching on your part and unfortunately you have to do what is best for you and your family, not what you WANT to do. I wish you both the best and will have you in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear about the sale of the trikes, and even more the reason behind the sales. Now that you have experienced trikes, triking is in your blood. Blood is thicker than water, so you will always be part of this triking family.

No way does this mean you're getting rid of us girlie...you both have become like family (the GOOD ones) so we expect to see and hear from you regularly.

Very sorry to hear this news and my very best wishes go out to both of you.

Like Nana said, just because you will not have a trike doesn't mean you can't share in all of the camaraderie here in Trike Talk. You are and always will be a part of this group!

It's always a sad time when someone has to give up the ride. Just last week a friend that I have rode with for many miles called and told me that they are going to sell. Their health has gone south and both are facing many issues. We haven't rode together in over a year because they just can't do it. The thing that saddens me most is knowing that one day I will be there too if the Good Lord doesn't take me before then. My prayers are with you both, asking God to bless you with other things that you can enjoy as much as being on the bike. Keep in touch, even if you don't ride anymore you still have lots of experiences to share.

Annette and Tom, I'm so sorry to hear this!! But as others have said, you're family and we want you to stick around!! Remember, I'm living proof that you can go to a bike/trike rally in a cage, and still have a blast, so hope to see you at them for many years to come!!

This is very sad, indeed! I wish you and Ron all the best. I elaborated a little bit more on the "other" forum when I read it yesterday. I will say that you guys are two of the nicest people and hope we meet up again.

Annette and Ron, I thank you for the advice you gave me as I was trying to decide between a Toyhauler and Motorhome. I am 64 and my body sometimes tells me I have a future decision to make. I have enjoyed your posts and your openness to help others in their travels. The help you give to all who ask about the roads of East Tennessee. Good Luck, we all know that when one door close another one opens.

I'm new to this site and I don't know you, but my heart goes out to you. I too have health issues and have not been able to ride for the past 18 months. The illness has sucked, but not riding has just about crushed my soul. So pls accept my heart felt prayers for His Grace as you face your struggle. But remember, your mind can still sore even if your butt won't

Thanks for all your kinds words of encouragement. I know for sure Ron is breathing better. The TF is sold, his RK is sold and we have sold several jackets and other things on eBay. I am getting ready to list just a few more items tonight and when those are sold, we will be ready to leave for the beach. We traded the toyhauler for a regular RV fifth wheel, so we will be on the road again, but without the bikes. I guess you can say we are re-retireing! LOL Keeping up a Road King and a TriGlide is like having a job. Ya'll ride safe.

GOOD luck folks. Hope to meet up with both of you sometime in the future.
