Need to replace the left side stock rubber on the foot peg. Moving my foot to shift has worn out the rubber on the step.

2016 GL1800 Trike. For the life of me I cannot get the old rubber off. Any hints or suggestions?

Thank you.

I had no trouble changing mine, took out the two screws in the bottom of step, removed assembly from step , removed rubber from mounting plate and reversed order to reassemble.

Hey John, that's what I thought. My son in law thinks I was using too big of a socket. It was just spinning around over the head. I have a hard time kneeling down (bad hip) and thought I was using the correct size socket--evidentially I wasn't.

He's going to bring over his socket set and take a look at it for me. Lord have mercy--it's hell to get old. lol

Finally got around to changing the rubber on the foot pedal. Once I had the correct socket size it was a piece of cake.
