Great customer service. I bought a hitch couple years ago from Rivco installed it on 2009 tri-glide and never used it. Was going to have some warrenty work done so took it off.
Now I am going to reinstall it. So I ordered the strait receiver from Rivco. When it arrived it would not go into the hitch. Called them they are sending me a return label for hitch and receiver they are going to fix it no charge.

I just bought the Rivco hitch for our 2012 tri-glide. My problem is that I am installing the LED tail lights and you have to split the original wiring harness to accept the module for the LED's. The wiring harness for the hitch also is suppose to plug into this harness. would anyone happen to know if there is a cross connection made to plug botht the hitch and LED's into the same plug? Alos just for everyones information. Rivco use to sell the hitch with the wiring harness and the tongue and ball but they discontinued this and now sells everything seperately at a higher cost.

I installed the Rivco on my 2012 yesterday. The holes did not align properly, it was a biotch to install. I couldn't believe how long it took, after all it only has 4 bolts.

I'm debating whether or not to even install the hitch. I use my trailer maybe once a year and I don't know if it's worth it. I may just sell the hitch and trailer because I think I can haul everything needed in the trunk, tourpak, and tour pak bag. I was told by the Harley dealer I deal with that all dealers were informed by Harley-Davidson that no dealer is allowed to install a hitch anymore.

I pull a trailer with mine three or four times a year. It sure is nice to unpack a suitcase than it is bike bag. It is also easier to haul the things my wife brings along and buys on our trips :) I think you will enjoy the trailer.

Exactly one of the reasons I started pulling a trailer, the wife is much happier being able to pack the Kitchen sink:D.
