Anybody ever travel through Alabama, Mississippi or Arkansas on US82? What is the road like? 2 lane or 4? Fun ride? I am going to fly up to Knoxville and pick up my new trike (new to me) on Saturday and don't relish IH45 or IH20... 45 is boring and 20 is always a mess with broken pavement and construction. I can't see coming down to IH10 being much better as it is always a mess as well. Requesting info! TIA. wg

I ALMOST bought a Hannigan / RSV conversion. This is the one.

It was offered to me offline at $15K. I REALLY STRUGGLED as I lusted after an RSV BUT I also had a WONDERFUL offer on a 2008 GL1800 Champion conversion with less than 6K miles by a great couple in Tennessee. The mister is developing dementia issues and can't ride anymore. I paid SLIGHTLY more than for the RSV but the basic wing platform is worth probably about double and that is what swung me. I would have taken the Hannigan / RSV conversion to an installer and let them install an aux gas tank and reverse and it would have cost me a bit more but made the RSV perfect. Issue is, 2 or 3 years down the road, the RSV conversion would lose value quicker and I would have plunked a few thou extra. This is the wing I am getting Saturday:

I have already purchased armrests for the missus and some Kuryakyn floorboards w/ heel/toe shifter and still have a like-new sheepskin seatcover (black) that sits great. Still need to come up with a hitch and find some mirror wings I have stashed somewhere and can't locate as they cut down on pillion buffeting.

I saw this RSV trike while surfing Cycletrader today and it is a FANTASTIC bargain if nothing is wrong with it... (my sister-in-law lives in town where this is for sale).
