Removal of aftermarket grips

Are you going to reuse them?
If not just cut em off.
If you are, Go to walmart and get the nail polish remover, the big bottle. Can't remember what it is called right now. If they are Kuryakyn, remove the end chrome piece and get some in the grip. Let it set and do it again but try to rotate it. Once it movers it will come off.
Stock grips, Remove the end weights and use contact cement remover or wd40 do it the same way. the stock grips are rather easy to get off.
hope this helps

I have always used an compressor air nozzle for both stock and aftermarket grips.
For stock insert nozzle in hole in end of grip and blow.Grip will slide right off.
Aftermarket you have to raise the front part of grip with a small screwdriver the blow around inside of grip and it will also slide off.It kinda blows up the grip to loosen glue.
Be careful with glue removers, also removes paint.

PS: when putting on the new grips. If they didn't supply you with enough tape or you took them off to try again.
Golf club tape works really well to hold on grips.ThumbUp
As does masking tape although not as well.
