Rekluse clutch

I put a Rekluse clutch on my 2015 TG to reduce the strain on my arthritic hand. It worked well when first installed. I took a couple of trips of 200 miles or so and really helped when on and interstate that had a wrecked semi blocking the three of the four lanes. You can imagine all of the clutching goin on getting past the wreck.

My question is has anyone else had one installed and your experience with it. I do precision drill competition with the Shrine trike unit. Recently I have had to have it adjusted twice in two weeks because of slipping. I could barely get it over 40 mph. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was the first Trike to test drive this clutch several years ago. The company is located a couple of miles away from my home. Do an archive search and you should be able to find the posts I made about it....

re= recluse

I have had mine about a year now. Only thing I notice - It wants to creep forward, until Trans. oil is warmed up. Otherwise, its great. (However, I kind of miss being able to park the bike "in gear".)

The dealer had me speak with the mechanic who said he has worked on three of these and wasn't impressed with them. I asked him to talk to the manufacturer who is very helpful. He agreed but really had something else to sell me. I was very happy with it untill it started slipping. The mechanic said I was supposed to clutch it just like a stock clutch. I told him the whole point was to eliminate it in first gear. He said he would speak with Rekluse and set it to the factory specs. We'll see. Thanks for the response
