Reckless Fairing on 2016 Freewheeler

Finally received my Reckless Fairing and had it installed by Low Country Harley. I purchased the fairing back when I got my bike. Took 2 months to get but worth the wait. I had Reckless paint it Black Quartz to match the Freewheeler. Very please.

Thanks. I was really concerned about the look but agree, it really looks good. I think the tank lift really sets everything off pretty well, along with the backrest and luggage rack.

I put a detachable batwing fairing on my '16 FW and even though I thought I'd be taking it on and off, so far I've been enjoying it so much I've left it on all summer. - Russ

4 speakers. Sounds great. Some files are louder than others. Don't get much on the radio. Can Bluetooth my phone. I can use maps and Pandora at the same time. Radio will mute Pandora when maps gives directions for a turn.

How did it change it? I am really interested in getting one for my 2015.

The fairing, with radio put more weight on the front end, and changed the steering dynamics.

As soon as I pulled it off, steering was easier than with the fairing on

Unless you need/want a radio, look at the Memphis Shades batwing

simple anteanna

Here's a nice cheap antenna for your fairings. I tried a couple of pole style etc and 12v boosters all were crap!

I saw an install on youtube (can't find it now) they used the below pictured simple antenna1!

In my metal building had 1 station with those Crappers!

With this marine Antenna I had 4 or 5 good and clear and we are 50 miles N of the Mexican Border and yes they were U.S. Stations! Couldn't believe it myself but it Works and they sell for about $8.50 on Ebay.

You fold the 3 lengths back and forth on top of each other; to shorten them up, then the plug end sits on top of your radio and the left and right T portion is taped or glued along each side of the inner fairing.
