Need to find out what set of shocks to get to replace the ones that are on the trike now. One is leaking and I have found they are Progressive 1365 120/170. They measure 14 1/4" from center to center of the holes. I looked at the Progressive site but could find nothing on them. Anyone got a clue as to where and what I need to get????:gah:

Oh BTW it's an 86 GL1200 SE-i with the solid axle.....

Rob,call Progressive. At one time they were re-building those shocks and even offered kits to rebuild yourself.
I know it's been awhile for the 1200's,hope they can still help you out.

Rob, I got a1985 Aspencade GL1200 and I'm still using my "old" stock air shocks but with Progressive internals. These are the type used on the 2-wheelers for the time. My bike is now a trike but put together using MotorTrike body (1996?) but under the body everything else is homemade or modded/fabbed (narrowed rear/axles, sub-frame, etc,) by me.

Can understand the "cost" from Progressive. I would look at buying a set of air shocks from any of the auto parts places. You should be able to find the correct length for stock or any other length one needs. To me the only issue is getting the air lines to match. Might not be that bad, but just a minor issue. Just make sure the shock eye bushings fit or use stock Honda rubber bushings. Trikes don't care if you use Honda parts or Auto Zone/Pep Boys parts.

Hope this helps.
