Rear Fender Tips 2008 RSV with Hannigan Kit

For those of you who have installed the chrome rear fender tips on your Hannigan kits, are the Hannigan fenders exactly the same contour and size as the RSV rear fender? In other words, does the RSV rear fender tip fit the Hannigan fenders? Thanks. Doug

Yes they fit exactly. When I had my kit done, I only had to buy ONE new tip because they reused the one off my rear fender of the two wheeler.

Trimmed? - The fender or the tip?

Mine were installed by the dealer that did my conversion.

The tips need to be trimmed. Note tip in pic is no longer symmetrical.

If you can find an extra fender tip to use, I would get it instead of paying the dealer price. I can't remember if they charged me $130 or $230 for just one piece. Total rip off.

Also the inside tip of the fender tip needs to be trimmed since it can't wrap around the fender on the inside.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I can see from @leo3wheel ‘s pic that a bit needs to be trimmed. Looks like Pinwall might have what I need. I’m sure not paying over $200 each for new ones. Doug
