After looking at different sites and some say they are required by law. Well have you looked at the new 17s. they don't have them on the fenders any longer. Wonder whats up?

Hadn't noticed the '17s are without rear fender reflectors. Would like to get rid of them on my '13....

....and replace them with LEDs. Just can't find any units that would work.

If this works some have them some don't.

Copy and paste.

I took them off my 2012

I didn't like them on mine. A heat gun and a few minutes are all it takes to get them off.

Just don't keep the heat gun in one place. Keep it moving and heat it up slowly.

I like reflectors. I even put 3" dia. ones on each side of my license plate and 1/4" Solas (Marine grade reflecting tape) tape around the lip on the tour pack. That and my pulsating tail lights and Hyper-Lites, my back end looks like a 7 alarm fire area.

NOBODY can say they didn't see me. :)

I hate to say it...But they will say it....

My 2017 TGU has the reflectors on the rear fenders.

My 2017 TGU HAD the reflectors on the rear fenders. Fishing line and a little WD40... same for the amber (yellow) on the front forks.

I like it SO much better without them!
