Anyone know an approximate weight of the rear body? Will be removing next weekend and my wife is a little thing. Want to be sure she can help or if I will need to invite a buddy over.

I not sure of the weight. I estimate between 120-150lbs. The problem is the awkwardness of lifting it off, which is why you will need your buddy. My buddy and I put one hand under the tour box and one on the front lip of the fender and lifted. Set it down on something soft because you will be resting it on your paint.

I have removed a few of them, every time I took the tour pack off little more work but it makes it a lot less awkward, get a friend & the 3 of you can take it off easy one in the back one on each fender in the front & remove the wheels & remove the rear footboards then its easy .

I've never weighed it, but like nucseal, I think it is in the 100-150 lb range.

It is definitely enough to make a difference between being able lift the front tire off the ground! :)

Check out this video, besides the wheelies, with and without the rear body...you can see what it looks like without it.
