Re: girlfriend joined from Okanogan, BC Canada

Hi from the sunny Okanagan in Birtish Columbia Canada.
I ride a Honda Shadow Areo 750 2008 with Trigg Trike Kit.
I put the kit on after failing to negotiate a S curve.
Most everyone wanted me to stop riding... well I did not and compromised.
Been riding the with the kit for a year now and put on 10T kilometers this summer. Plan on doing more this one coming up.. Sturgis here I come
Still got a lot of reading to do here, you all sound great!

Re: girlfriend has joined the forum

HI girlfriend. Is your rigg Trike kit an outrider type, that is do you still work off the rear motorcycle wheel? It looks this way in the photo. In Australia they sell the Wedgetail kit which is probably similar. How does it handle and feel? Any movement, sideways play?
Glad you didn't give up the sitting on and riding. There really is no other way.

Re: girlfriend joined from Okanogan, BC Canada

Geoff,
yes it runs off the rear tire. It is called a trigg kit, got it from Bikes to Trikes out of seattle.
rode local sast year, heading to Sturgis this year with the motorcycle group I belong to.
Gonna be awesome.
I love my ride, miss the rush of the cornering, and I have not raked my kit. not to sure what the advantage would be. sure got strong arms now lol lol

Re: girlfriend joined from Okanogan, BC Canada

Welcome from eastern neighbour. We are in your area quite often. Kids live in Westbank-sorry-District of West Kelowna. Lots of great riding in the 'Bring Cash" province. :)

Re: girlfriend joined from Okanogan, BC Canada

Thanks girlfriend. Strong arms wont hurt us :) Probably match the smile on our faces. I will look at the Wedgetail with further interest going from your experience. Does it "flop" around much or does it feel complaint and with the bike?
Cheers

Re: girlfriend joined from Okanogan, BC Canada

Geoff,
I have no "flopping" around at all. I do however often left the back tire when going around a corner at a little bit higher speed then I should I am guessing. I fella riding behind me told me this, and did think it felt like that.
My Bike is a 750. I can keep up good, not as fast as I once was, and thinking I want more power thinking of an 1100 or 1300cc after this summer. not sure yet.
