On Friday Randy called and said he was going to be in our neck of the woods on Saturday, after picking up his Hannigan Conversion kit.

It was a pleasure to meet in person. Emails and a few conversations on the phone, and I already knew he was a quality guy. Spending Sat. aft./Evening and a good part of Sunday was a real treat.

We completely forgot about getting any pictures while he was at the shop, but today we remembered the camera and got some pics-

Here's the radical Conversion he's working on, from the back...it is something else!!!

We had a great time visiting, talking trikes & travel.

Thats gonna be an awesome trike for sure. Although our visit was rushed for time I had the pleasure of a meeting with Zook when he delivered my trike and he for sure is an interesting guy.

Very nice looking!! Hope to see it in completed form someday.
Was the sun bright or were the eyes the result of "too much elbow bending?
Ride safe,
Tip

A combination of the wind blowing and mid-blink!

I really enjoyed getting to know Kevin and Mary. They were kind enough to put me up in their home and feed me well which was very much appreciated after spending the last several weeks on the road visiting sponsors, staying in hotels and eating fast food, and this was after three weeks at Hannigan's factory, so I have been on the road for a while now.

Kevin & Mary are truly fine folks, honest, hardworking, salt of the earth people and very bright. Mary also gives good hugs. ;)

Randy,

Do we get to see the finished project?

Yep, I have documented the entire tear down and build from start to where it is now and will continue to do so until its finished. I spent three weeks at Hannigan's factory during this build. This was the very first production Harley Bagger conversion so everything was fabricated based on their prototype, but with quiet a few small modifications along the way to produce a final production model of which this is, serial number XXXXX0001.

Another big thanks to Dave and Ruth Anne Hannigan for putting me up in their home for three weeks while my trike was being built. It was very cool to be a part of the process from design, fabrication, fitment, paint layout and striping and final assembly. Dave & Ruth Anne, Herb Anderson and John Lee along with their entire staff treated me like royalty and I cant thank them enough for their hospitality. We have the best sponsors in the world and am proud to call them my friends.

can't wait to see the finished trike after seeing to 3 pics Kevin posted, that is one great looking back end.:clapping:

It would be great if they would take the design of that back end and make a bolt-on kit for a TG.:D
