I recently had my '12 triked and had a 4.5 rake kit installed also.

Upon close inspection, it looks like my front wheel is canted a little to one side.

I measured the distance from the ground to the bottom of the forks, as best I could, and they are a little off from being equal with each other.

I used a magnetic level on the front disks. I attached it to one disk and got it plumb level.

When I attached it to the opposite disk, it is not level.

I had the installer do this and therefore have no instructions on what he was supposed to do as far as adjustment/alignment.

I thought a rake kit was pretty much fool proof.

Before I call him, do you think he screwed up ? What do you think happened?

Thanks
Mike

The (hawg halter) rake kit I bought from Zook was pretty much fool proof, I don't know how yours is set up?
Makes me wonder if he has the forks even in the triple trees?

Assuming the frame has not been tweaked(?) I would:
Make sure or have your installer make sure, the fork tubes are positioned correctly in the triple trees.
Does the trike track true or pull to the side?

The only thing that I could see that could cause that is either the fork legs aren't set to the same height in the triple trees or the front axle spacers weren't re-installed properly. Have your installer take a look at it.

THE TREES COME WITH A 2 INCH EXTENSION TO ADD TO THE TOP. THEY ARE A BIT DIFFICULT TO INSTALL DUE TO THE FORK SPRINGS.. YOU MAY HAVE TO USE A VISE TO HELP IN COMPRESSION. NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO CHANGE THAT FORK OIL! THE TUBES SCREW INTO THE UPPER TRIPLE TREE,SO NO CHANCE OF MISALIGNMENT OR FOR UNEVENNESS. SCREW IN HAND TIGHT ONLY, SO PUT AWAY YOUR PIPE WRENCH BOYS. I REALLY LIKE THIS FEATURE, THERE IS NO CHANCE AT FORK MISALIGNMENT AND THE UPPER FORK CLAMP IS ELIMINATED - See more at: http://s1273.photobucket.com/user/p...375.jpg.html?sort=4&o=25#sthash.yeyLBmj7.dpuf
