Radio reception

I don't think many of the motorcycles have great radio reception. The only thing you might do is clean your antenna connections and make sure all is tight in the antenna mount. Also, if you want to take the top shelter off, you can check/clean connections to radio. Other than that it is what it is.

That is why MP3 players were designed. I have a small Sandisk player, $49 bucks, mounted with Velcro industrial dots on top of CB switch box on left handlebar with lead into left pocket for use with Aux input. Works like a champ and I currently have over 550 songs. AND NO COMMERCIALS !!!:pepper:

You can use a marine antenna, it dose not require a lot of ground plane and is trimmed to operate in a short bandwidth . They are also known as a dipole antenna , very easy to make. That is about the best you can do on a bike or trike because of the small ground plane that you present . Hope this helps.

If you have a late model car that came with a Sirius XM contract you can add to it and use your phone to get XM. At least that's what I did with my Harley and I'm now doing it with my Indian. Harley was a wired connection at first that I later got a Bluetooth dongle to do it with and the Indian was Bluetooth from the get go. But it all depends on that darn contract.

I have a 2006 Motor Trike and the radio reception is great. I'm using the stock radio and antenna. Check the connections and antenna ground. Good Luck with figuring it out.
