radio and phone won't play nice

I have a 2016 Tri glide and in the past I would play Pandora from my iPhone 5 through the radio with no problem. I have just recently traded up to a iPhone 7 + and it wont play Pandora through the radio.Have any of you had this same problem? Any help would be appreciated, because I sure as heck can't figure it out.

Have you paired the phone (bluetooth)?? Just a quick idea

yes I've done that, going to try and re-pair and see if that works

I downloaded the latest version of software to the radio and that didn't work. I next deleted the pairing between the phone and radio, but then I couldn't get them to pair again, at this point I was starting to lose it. I was cussing up a storm, when I remembered the iPhone was updated not to long ago ,could they have screwed with something with the update, so I shut the phone down and re booted it. I don't know why this worked but it did and I was able to pair the phone, and Pandora is back....Apple had a big worm in it! Anyway if any of you have a problem like this maybe this will help.

I know this isn't the same device, but since my wife got her IPhone 7 last year her Ford Sync is intermittent with the phone. Both Ford and Apple acknowledge there is an issue, but each point to the other as the problem instead of addressing the problem. Glad a reboot fixed your issue. When I read the first post, the Ford issue popped into my head.

iPhone to boombox

I have a 16 triglide and a IPhone 7. I have trouble with intermittent sound. It’s always there but it cuts in and out a lot. The tunes from my IPhone come in perfect just listening to the phone. Frustrating.

I also have a '16 TriGlide and It works well with my iPhone 7+. I mounted it to my handlebar and have it powered form the auxiliary outlet in the fairing. I have the hardwired Harley headset and that's how I get the sound to my helmet. It also does pretty well with answering the phone for me. I however do not like the cord that HD provides. It likes to come loose and it then creates intermittent sound issues for me.
