intermittent radio with headset

my radio works fine till you use the head sets (new) then the intercom works between passenger and driver but the radio breaks up or the volume low .it had codes uo140, uo184 don't know what to look for ? 2014 tri glide

Mike, these are BCM codes losing communication with the radio

Do you have any warranty?

The dealer can scan and reload software to correct these problems

Many fault codes tied to the BCM can be traced to battery connections, clean and tight is always a first thing to check

no warranty. just bought this trike . what is the bmc? also what is the dtcs? it seams like something is lose, but i need a starting point . i have parts manual but don't see bmc or dtcs

BCM is the Body Control Module, DTC are Diagnostic Trouble codes

All power runs thru the BCM, most all U trouble codes are related to lost communication,

That said, the first place to look is battery connections, with the can bus electrical system the connections are critical
