Has anyone looked at this trailer for a camper? We have checked it out pretty thoroughly and feel like we could tow it. The owner of the company says there have been several people with trikes that have bought them. We haven't seen any on the road, but, it's winter, right? We are thinking or ordering one soon.

We have a Bunkhouse, Link: Motorcycle Camping & Cargo Trailers empty it is 330lbs and it comes in around 500-550lbs loaded for a trip. That Quicksilver looks interesting, but it seems it would be very heavy loaded. A trike could pull it, no doubt, but safely controlling it would be another thing. The Bunkhouse has a pretty easy set-up, about 10 minutes for me alone including staking down the changing area and setting up the awning, about half that with Gloria helping.

Ozark is pretty much on. The Quicksilver is 600 pounds dry. Add your normal stuuf to it and you're looking at over 1000 pounds. Balanced correctly, you probably get less than 100 pound of tongue weight, which presents little problem on level ground, but you start pulling that load up even moderate hills and you've got a problem.

If you are planning any serious touring, it would be wise to start out with the lightest unit you can get that gives you the ammenities you want.

Good luck!
