I have recently been seeing the turn signals flash like you don't have the fob, and not start then remove the fob from windshield pouch then it starts right up. is it possible for the Cell Phone interferes with the fob? it was in the pouch beside the fob. Also a remote for the action cam just below. Just not sure, going to change things around Phone is a new 5G samsung so may be that may have something to do with it. Any suggestions??? curious Fred

Yes it is......There is a warning about the FOB being placed too close to other electric devices..

Fred, try putting the cell phone in your pocket or somewhere away from the fob for a day or two . See if that is the problem.

You could remove power from the action cam remote to see if that is the culprit.

The easiest thing would be to relocate the fob.

Referring to page 51 in my 2019 manual.....

Do not store the fob stored in a metal case or with the fob closer than 3 inch to a mobile phone' PDA display Or other electronic device.....

Thank you to all this confirmed my thoughts as well. We changed things up a bit in the storage of items and seems we should have left well enough alone. LOL:good: ride safe Fred

On my 17 if i put the fob in the windshield pouch in the compartment next to my garage remote it will give me issues so i just keep the fob in my pocket.

My FOB stays in my right front paints pocket, And the Cell phone stays in my left front paints pocket.....

The phone stays with me in case i ever get separated from the Trike...

And the FOB stays with me all times after the first time i had a bike with a FOB' I drove off with it when it was close enough to start the trike, And then the first time i stopped it i couldn't figure out to restart it with the code, And my Wife had to bring the FOB over to me..My ears are still ringing and that was 2011..........

I do the code start as a test every now and then but just in case, I carry the owners manual with the instructions in the tour pack.

If you have the FOB you can change the code to whatever code you want without having to know the previous code 👍...

The best part of ting is to keep the tour pack with a check list so that you don't miss out on anything like map which very important.
