Hi all. Got one for you. I tried to reach our leader today but he has been out. Anyway, yesterday I installed a 7 degree triple tree from Frankenstein on my 2008 Ultra Classic Motor Trike. It went on good easy etc. Took if for a spin yesterday when back together and it still steers hard. I called factory, they asked a lot of questions. I'm stumped. I thought Frankenstein would be tops as that's their business. I can turn with one arm but I have to really push. I'm 5/10, 270, not a little guy. Any help would be great.

Sounds like you possibly tightened the neck bearing too tight. Get a manual and follow the procedure. You want the nut to torque down to (I BELIEVE) around 30 lbs.

Back in the day we would tighten down the neck bearings and check the fall away on 2 wheelers, then back off the stem nut and re torque the nut to 30 ft lbs, you might try that
sometimes setting the initial preload of the bearing is all it takes to properly seat both bearings
