problem with primary chain adjuster

triGlide has 37k. on it .anyone having problems with OEM primary chain adjuster? whats the best manual adjuster. installed a new bolt in the screaming eagle compensator which had a shoulder on the bolt that the old one didn't have.

1.59 from dealer. it had blue locktight on it. so i put 2 drops of red on the inside of the blue; and torqued it to 170 ft. lbs.

just bought a open box with no instructions

need install instructions for DRAG solid sprocket compensator

p/ 1120-0390 vn 191200

started the bike up ad the p/ chain flops wildly. just over 3/4" slack. it was 1/4" when i removed the primary cover.thanks leon

You don't state what year your referring to, but the compensator & cam chain adjuster have been a problem for years.

Have you tried using your GOOGLE machine as there are a bunch of instructional videos on YouTube.

chain afjuster

installed Drags compensator and a manual primary chain adjuster. 2009 trGlide

still pretty noisey, but haven't driven it only 5 miles so far. need at least 100 miles and its suppose to quieten down

Your chain all stretched out and your maxed out on your adjuster?

Is the block worn out?

How many teeth were on the compensator versus new??
