Powervision speedometer calibration

Thanks, but I have a different diameter wheel on the freewheeler, unless the signal comes from the transmission. Then that number would work.

if your saying will correcting the speedo also change the odometer the answer is yes. They both use the speedo sensor for calculation.

I am having CCRS (Chronic can't remember squat) moment here. How do you get to the screen to change the calibration?

Thanks

I did the math and came up with this number. 2463. My speedo is dead nuts on at 60mph.

This how i did it. I got this off of one of the Harley Forums.

1. speed shown on speedometer / speed on gps = number

2. number X pulses per km = new value

example

1. speedo reads 60

2. gps reads 64

3. 60 / 64 = 0.9375
number = 0.9375

4. current pulses per km = 2300

5. 2300 * 0.9375 = 2156
2156 is the new value to enter in the Speedo Calibration

You can change the speedo calibration with the PV device by going to Program Vehicle>Quick Tune>VSS

Note: using Quick Tune will only change speedo cal in the ECM, not in your map in the tune manager
