Polaris's new entry into the trike world

It has a steering wheel, so it's not a motorcycle and shouldn't be classified as a Trike.

I bet you say that the Stallion is not a TRIKE/MOTORCYCLE also. Currently the FEDS say its a motorcycle for regulations that apply to construction and equipment and therefor licensing. I expect it comes with a certificate of origin that says motorcycle. The Stallion does.

You are correct. In my opinion, if it has a steering wheel it should not be classified as a motorcycle.

I really have to agree as well. But with that being said, I couldn't care less what folks care to classify it as. As long as I have fun with it, that's all that counts!

There was an article in the paper on Sat. Conn. Has not decided yet what to call it. No Conn dealer has been cleared to sell them. The Stallion pushed the envelope, but at least you sit motorcycle style and it is one front wheel. This looks just like a car inside. Side by side seating. And a stick shift. I agree who care what they call it. I like it. I would love to take it for a 3 hour ride. If Conn classified it as a car. ( problem no air bag or crash protection ) the people that don't have the M endorsement can own and operate one. Right now they are saying you would have to purchase it in Mass.and reg in Conn. That is what happened with the Ural sidecar motorcycle. Also with my Chinese CF moto V3.
Tive will tell.

Why buy a stripped down and unsafe car, when you can buy a real car for about the same price.

Last fall, saw young girls driving these rental trikes around Providence, RI without helmets.

Looks just like a KIT car that you put together in your garage! To me it is nothing more than a three wheel car. It looks like they spent more time on the front end than the rear end. The rear looks very unfinished and chopped up. If you watch one of the videos and push the pause button as this thing goes by, the rear looks like a bathtub with two people sitting in it. Hey, just my opinion, but for the money you could buy a nice low mile used convertible!

I have to agree.

I'll believe those are $25K when I see one sitting in a showroom with that price tag on it.....
But, I know they will be one of things with no price that you have to ask about and they make up a new price for everyone that asks ala HD dealers.

Maybe it will grow on me.
I have started to like the can ams after sitting on one that fit me.
HOWEVER, dont hold your breath on this one.
Reminds me of an old Morgan three tire car,
had a motorcycle engine in the front

I saw those little 3 wheelers all over at Americade. I think they get away as a moped ( under 50 cc
I agree u could buy this for 23,000 but then you would not get stopped at every corner to explain what it is

:Agree:

The rider (driver?) wears a helmet + 3-point harness + roll bars? No weather protection? Why not just buy a Fiat 500C ($20,500) or a Mazda MX-5 Miata ($24,500)

What I want to know is, as a trike rider, when I pass one, should I wave or not? :xzqxz:

reminds me of this
they had a hard time selling and reg them too. They were very pricy also.
