I have a 2014 goldwing with a rear pinion seal leak it is very small can I add a seal leak repair liquid to stop it and how hard is to change the seal myself thank you

Mike, oil sealers have been around for years. Most have pretty bold claims. The fact is once a seal starts to leak this would be a band aide at best. IMO save your money for now and get the seal replaced soon by a qualified mechanic.

Ok thank you much for the advice sir. Just have to find a qualified mechanic that works on Csc some I found around here in central fl. Don’t do Csc anymore

Personally i would replace it also. That way you don't have to worry about it for a long long time more than likely and can enjoy getting out to ride.

There are 7 CSC dealers in Florida.

If you go to the CSC website californiasidecar.com and click on the Dealers tab at the top, it will list all of our dealers by state.

Pick the dealer of your choice.

Rear pinion seal

Thanks for all the info. We got the pinion seal replaced and I got to tell y’all if you ever need any trike work done check out and talk to trikes by design in Inverness fl. Believe me they are the best in all categories. Service , price , etc. etc. well worth the drive if you live a distance from there . I made an appointment for 9:00 am and I was back on the road at 10:45. Excellent.
