Just picked up a 2016 Triglide on Saturday and rode it home 220 mi. From Phoenix, AZ and it was 107deg at 3:08 In the Afternoon!

It had 2837 mi on it and not a scratch! That ride was brutal; too darrn hot! Havn't done that in years; forgot what the heat was like!

I'm new to the Trigide forum as I totaled my 2015 Freewheeler last January.

I could not believe the amount of heat coming up off the CAT area of the exhaust?

Never had that kind of heat on the Freewheeler! The Cat was still on my Freewheeler!

The CAT has to go!

My Free had most of the keep it cool ideas/Items that DK Customs has to offer and I'm making A build my bike wish list as this Trike is stone stock and was only $24K

I kept my Mustang seat from the Freewheeler and hope it will fit on the Triglide?? I know Jack always says any touring seat will fit the Freewheeler!

Anyway it's Red on Red 2 tone and really sparkles in the Sun!

You probably know this already....But D K Customs floor board extenders will alleviate most of the heat problem coming from the Cat...

Nice ride you will get it cooled down I did my 09' congrats on the upgrade. travel safe Fred

If you remove the CAT will it void the ESP? I want to remove the CAT on my 2017 Tri-Glide but don't want to cause any issues with the ESP. Congrats on the new ride.

Yes it will void your warranty

Riding the dam thing voids the warranty! Don’t know, don’t tell.

The thing that gets me is why do bike owners got to tell/brag to the service manager of all the mods they did to there ride ? Just keep your trap shut and say why it’s here. They might throw in a tee shirt .

I know your right Jack! I don't see why my Mustang freewheeler seat shouldn't fit on this 2016 Triglide? I'll find out in AM!

Oh! He also bought 2 years of extended warranty on it too! Good till OCT 2020!

A day late due to rained all day in Arizona!

Here's Proof your right Jack: A Freewheeler seat will fit on a Triglide! It's a 2" more rear seat with backrest! And works just fine for Me!

I see why people complain about removing and replacing a Triglide seat! You can barely see the screw down in among the wires! Right after i got the seat on

I realized I wanted to remove that left air dam #*&#$$^**! (It's still on do it later)

Welcome on board! Wife and I love our 2014 Triglide. Mine is pretty much bone stock. Added a little chrome here and there. As far as the heat goes, I've not done anything. Personally I don't think it's that bad. You are sitting on a big, huge heat producing engine so yeah it hot. Wife has never complained about heat either. But if it bothers you then there are mods available. Enjoy your ride.
