Pic request. Tow Pac Instatrike with 8'' wheels. And 8'' to 12'' info.
A friend is picking up a nice 1500 Goldwing next month. It comes with an Instatrike. It has been previously installed. But is not right now. It originally came with 8'' wheels. The seller said he put 12'' on there, and shimmed the fenders up. Says he rode it, and we can ride it.
I talked to Jeremy and he says that would be very hard to do, and do it right. He says this is an early model. We can see in one pic he has the down force adjusted all the way. So who knows how it rides, or if it did any damage to anything. I don't even know if the seller knows you can change the down force by psi on the wing. I did see it was at 29psi.
So my friend does not like the idea of the 8'' wheels. Number one for looks. And he's also worried about it spinning so fast and having a blow out. He's going to get it and see if it will work with 12''. But hates to put it back to 8''. Has anybody went from 8'' to 12''.
Has anyone had any issues with 8''.
