I just got a confirmation from PayPal that my Bitcoin purchase of $890.90 was complete.

I did not buy any bit coin.

The e-mail phone# and PayPal# don't match and we found no such activity on our CC.

We will continue to monitor our CC.

Be wary folks.

Mike,

That is a phishing scam, I get them all the time. I'm sure you already know this, but do not click on any hot link in that email, just report it as phishing, then block the sender and delete.

I also get that stuff . The last one I got was to confirm the address in delaware for the 72” tv from amazon.

Yea, I figured it out right away.

Shirley thought I was buying bitcoin.

I never click on links in a email. Even if I think it's legit.

I call or email the company directly.

The IRS is supposedly going to lock me up.

They have been on their way for several years.:AGGHH:

I am still awaiting the check from the Irish lottery I won but don't remember buying a ticket for.
