Parking brake

Having a problem getting the parking brake to release. Any ideas?

RS or RT model? The RT has a history of the cable coming off the pulleys.

Loosen the cable a bit. Put it in N so you can push it back and forth to judge that its not too loose.

Lube the bejesus out of the cables just like you would a throttle cable...they can get sticky. Many mfgs will use too long of cables, and wind the excess around things like the axle constricting the smooth travel of the cable...that can cause sticking as well....don't know what kit you have but if it is a Lehman that could be the issue!
