They're lots of help in my opinion, and not just on motorcycles. I've saved a ton of money with just washer and dryer fix it videos.

When I'm searching for online videos, I will watch some from several sources and not just settle on the first one I come across. Sometimes I have found that the first video I found has some bad information. I will match up what I see with the Factory service manual before I dive in so I have as much info that I can get. The manual can sometimes be a bit vague and videos can give a much clearer idea of how to accomplish the task.

For Instance, I will be rebuilding the forks on my trike watched every video I could find and ordered parts will rewatch and pick and choose different methods to complete the job. Saves broken parts / mistakes. Thus, benefitting from others experiences.

I've got questions, and this all has to do with the information being provided in the video. At least here, repairs have a start and end point. They start with a complaint, or concern. So the start point is to verify the symptom. For a fork OH that often starts with a test ride, and usually ends with another test ride. If a fork was leaking, the test rides are most critical. Probably the most important part of any repair, and to keep from doing the repair all over again, is a proper inspection of the parts.

So I have 3 questions.

1) Do you pay for any DIY videos ???

2) Do the videos only show how to remove, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and reinstall ??? Or do they show all that, plus how to properly inspect the tubes and sliders, and how to recheck your work after ???

3) Did any of the video talk about how to test ride prior to starting the fork repair. For example, how to test ride before and after and what to expect on each ride ???
