At the front of this month I posted new thread "Dangeroud Times" concerning riding in today's environment. Keeping things even I thought I would go another direction. What good thing has happened to you or others while traveling this Country? For me one quick
memory jumps out: Riding out of Black Hills back to Rapid City in 1998 on Dyna my air cleaner came off and became a juggling act to hold cleaner against knee while trying to get shut down and not lose too many parts. As I
finally got stopped off road & before I had a chance to check problem another bike with a couple stopped to see if they could help. With
a little wire they had I was able to temp tie things together and limp into town to get it repaired. Total amount time lost: 15 minutes.
Try that in a car. This is just one instance of several that come to mind.
Bikers do care. Can't always say that about drivers.
