I said the same thing but SOMEDAY came faster than I thought. I had no problems but realized I wasn't getting any younger, my legs weren't getting any longer and 900 lbs of bike weren't getting any lighter, especially with a passenger. Combine that into a nice course gravel parking lot and the decision was easier and I haven't regretted it. It's partially a macho thing not wanting to give up 2 wheels, but at 69 yrs. who cares?

Welcome aboard the forum. I am also 69 and went to a trike this past spring. I was not feeling comfortable on the bike anymore, also after 50+ years, and with a passenger. My wife was the one that said it is time for a trike as she was not feeling comfortable anymore. The trike was the best thing I ever did. :)
