Not a triker---yet--Dallas Tex

I have a 2000 BMW K1200LT that my wife and I are seriously wanting to trike. I bought it new 12 years ago and now have another bike but don't want to part with the LT. My wife thinks she would want to ride it if it were a trike. We are going to go to shop that does the conversions and visit with them probably later this week or next week.

(Was just past you - kinda- when we came in on 30 yesterday, on the way to Killeen - ending a 4000 mile, 17-day trip that began with the Rally in the Valley!! We are going today to Young County Customs in Graham,Tx to look at another K1200LT he is finishing and probably put a deposit so he can order parts from Hannigan. ThumbUp

Thanks all. We were impressed with Young County Customs and the work he was doing on an LT. We have discussed it since coming back home and will put in the order Monday. He says it takes Hannigan(the only company that makes kits for Beemers) about 2 months to send a kit. Takes him 7 to 10 days to do the work so we are looking at sometime in late September or early October. I retire in September so hopefully the timing will work just fine.
