Looking for a few good trike riders.

Where is everyone ?

Time is getting short. I know August seems like a long time off. For Doug and I it is right around the corner. Please if you want to go please show us your interested. Open enrollment is only a few weeks away. The motel is ours until May 1st. Then it is open to anyone. Sign up on the Registration list. This is going to be the best yet. Don't miss it.

I want to go! BUT I would like someone to ride up with or others bikes (coming from Springfield, Massachusetts) safety in numbers, here, plus it will now give us both someone to actually know before riding all the way up alone .....{I can meet up with folks along the way somewhere}

Also if interested in sharing a room (not talking stupid here/straight only) cheaper on the wallet...in this case also..

Wife is not at all interested in riding that far on back, (plus she still has to work)

I ride safe (speed limit only)

I don't smoke, and not some crazy guy

Reason for asking is the last rally I attended, I rode all the way up, alone, and didn't know anybody, everyone was in couples and I felt soo left out, that I was not having any fun

O' I ride a 2010 Honda Goldwing, converted to a Roadsmith, last season, (not into bashing any model M/Cycle) and actually like riding with Harley's, if this was to be the case!

What rally did you come to? The one at Grayghost B&B in VT ?

Looks like I have a back seat passenger. I'll try to get up your neck of the woods way before the rally. My lady need some seat time. Nice ride up that way. Yea I went from $120 a night too $180 .. $600 not $360 for 3 nights. PM me your contact info. As Doug said if u can get down somewhere near hear that morning you can ride with us.

No it was a regular two wheeled motorcycle rally, not a trike affiliated event..[this was B4 I triked her out]. If up in my area of woods by all means let me know/ love to meet and greet... I just removed my front tire this morning, off my bike to replace and clean/polish up , and up comes the UPS truck with my new tire, couldn't ask for better timing.Getting ready for Americade/Laconia week(s) in June , plus rides where ever, once it warms up, off we go, to unknown areas...love 2 ride! What can I say!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (thank you) it's really not that far away from my home (good news) then the NEXT main reason to meet up with other folks is to get to know others before even going, so I'd have some contact with you/and some new friends, during the weekend, going alone, does kinda suck, It's much more fun, to say, hello to folks you know... NOW PLEASE BE ADVISED that this doesn't mean that I'm hanging all over you, and I'm there 24 hours a day, especially if your with your girl friend.. I'm very outgoing, and will mingle with others..It's just more fun to ride with other "like minded" folks, and enjoy the comradery of someone else to laugh, and joke with during the weekend.O' yea' most important reason, some to drink a beer with also...*the sharing of room is just for money saving reasons* if no one want's to share, then I'll get my own room.....

I'm sure John and I along with our significant others can meet up with you a weekend, once the weather gets better. There is a Cracker Barrel on Rt 5 in Warehouse Point off of Rt 140. It looks like that will be a good ride for you on back roads. Not sure of where you live in Springfield but if your on the west side, we can find a place west of Rt 91. Would your wife ride that far on the trike, maybe if she meets up with us it may change her mind. I work all week still so it would have to be on a weekend, John would have to arrange his schedule also. His "other" is new so the ride will be a break in for her also, my wife has been riding both 2 wheel and on a trike for a number of years, although the two wheel was a long time ago, before kids....

If we don't see a little more action on this rally it might be called the Cracker Barrel rally . I don't know why we had atleast 6 trikes 10 people or more interested in it in October and now only 4 .

Me not being able to PM any new or old Trikers in this area ( NY, NJ, Mass ,RI, VT , Penn,Del, MD NH, even Maine. ... I can't do any canvassing. The last few rallies I would scan new members , if I saw some within 150 miles of me I would PM them. Since for some reason ( after 20 years and 10,000 posts on here ) I have lost my privilege of PM and pictures , I can no longer do it. If any one can please do it . I made up a standard letter with all info inviting them and saved it in notes. When I found a new member I would copy paste it to them.

Hi guys , I have been keeping an eye on this site with alot of interest also . You guys have done a lot of planning & everything sounds great .We just can't get away until after Labor Day . Lena's Seafood , & Captains Corner keeps us grounded for the summer .lol

If any one takes a ride to the seacoast this summer stop in say hi , coffee is on me . I am at the batting cages & go karts area . ok , if you twist my arm , i will throw in some batting cage tokens too , lol

The weekend we picked has been one of the nicer weekends in the Catskills, a little cooler and dryer. The weekend after Labor Day I usually take a refresher course for my trade license and it has rained that weekend for several years. You could have decent weather in September or even October but it's a crap shoot after Labor Day. Not to mention once September comes a lot of us are probably thinking fall and winter and getting our homes in shape for the cold weather, getting fire wood.....of course most people if like me, never think of doing this in the summer.

Hi dougv & John yes I think you picked the best time to have a gathering there , & I would be there in a heat beat if I didn't have to work .

We do a lot of fund raisers here and I know it takes hard work & a lot of planning to pull them off . Thank you guys for putting this together, I know everyone will have a ball .

Hey Captain, are you going to be at Lena's on Friday the 8th? My wife and I are heading up to Scarborough, Me to visit my niece and I think we should be there around lunch time. Looks like we will be going right past your exit off of Rt 95. I'm planning on taking my trike with me but on a trailer, coming up Rt 84, the Mass Pike and then Rt 495 is bad enough in a car and I like to make time on the highway. As long as the weather is somewhat decent we want to ride around a little while up there and probably take my nieces sons for a quick ride. Both of us like seafood, we went to dinner last weekend in NY and the restaurant usually has a lobster wrap that is good but that night they were out, so she is looking forward to going.

I was curious where Silver Springs was and we drove right by it on our way home in April. We stay in Kenneth City which is north of St. Pete and went up 75 to 40 this year to avoid going through Orlando. Nice area and ride up that way.

Good morning dougv , yes I will be here with a fresh pot of coffee . lol. When you take exit 60 off 95 turn right at the light . You will see the mini golf big white whale straight threw the next set of lights, Lena's is next to golf on right with a big white whale also . Pull in mini golf parking lot if you want , plenty of parking easy in , easy out .

Did you see a big white whale about 20 miles east of Ocala on Rt. 40 headed toward Daytona ? Lena's two is there , my sisters run that one . Lena was I grandmother , she open on Salisbury beach in 1958 .
