Hi folks I have a 1982gl goldwing trike, it has a reliant back axle, the problem is when the trike is on the move thru the gears it pulls like a train but when coasting it sounds like trike is dragging a sack of spanners behind , any ideas would be most appresiated

welcome aboard dave. Ride safe. Someone will get on here and give you some idea I hope.

David, Welcome to Trike Talk Forum.

I will take the bait.

Do you have any leaks in the rear axle ?

Is the driveshaft tight and the u-joint good ?

Sounds like a u-joint problem in the U-K ???
