NJ Can-Am Ryker owner shopping for Vanderhall or Slingshot

I currently own a Ryker and am looking to replace it with a Vanderhall Carmel or Slingshot. I haven't driven either yet (wanted to this past weekend but rain in NJ area).

I like the style of the Carmel better. I sat in one with my wife and it's roomy enough (barely). I'm 6'2", 270 lbs so the Venice was just too tight for the two of us.

Any thoughts from others that have considered both would be helpful.

I owned a slingshot for two years you should’ve just driven in the rain then that would’ve convince you not to buy it, And at 6’2 270 you would need a skyhook to get in and out of it…😱..

There are a couple of Slingshots in the group I ride with. They both have roofs. The riders (drivers) grab the roof support to assist them getting out. I got into a Slingshot once which convinced me not to buy one...... after I finally managed to get out of it. I am a little smaller than you but not by much. Good luck and welcome to Trike Talk.....
